Last updated October 5, 2026. This policy describes how personalized order information is handled. Ordering, shipping, cancellation, and return terms are published separately in our ordering policies.

Photo privacy

Your uploaded photos are used only to preview, prepare, print, and support your Anam Light order. In the configured storefront, uploaded photo files are stored on a secure, access-controlled server in a private bucket tied to your guest or permanent account and are encrypted at rest and in transit. Signed previews expire. The browser records your chosen crop without rewriting or uploading a derived copy of the original; the illuminated preview is an approximation, not manufacturing output. Explicit blank positions contain no photo. We do not sell photos or reuse them in marketing without separate, explicit consent.

Delivered-order photo retention

For orders placed under this policy on or after September 1, 2026, uploaded photo files are automatically deleted from storage three days after confirmed delivery. This short period lets us use the original files to support a remake if transit damage is reported. Cleanup runs daily, so removal occurs on the first successful run after the three-day point. An administrative support hold may defer deletion while an active delivery problem is being resolved. Order, support, fulfillment, and audit records are retained as needed, but they do not include the deleted uploaded photo files.

Abandoned anonymous drafts

A separate cleanup process applies to abandoned anonymous drafts: the anonymous account must be more than 30 days old, have no sign-in, design, or draft activity during the last 30 days, and have no non-draft order. Its draft data and Storage files are removed before the anonymous account.

Orders and shipping

Production usually begins within 1–2 business days. Cancellation and refund requests remain available until we send the production-start notification. See the ordering policies for the complete production, shipping, cancellation, and problem-resolution terms.

V1 product, pricing, and taxes

The current Anam Light V1 is $60 with a wired USB-A base or $70 with the optional battery base, before extra panels, shipping, and tax. The cube is approximately 188 × 188 × 188 mm and comes with one of six standard solid frame colors: Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Brown, or Green. The smaller size and Wood, Marble, and Metallic finishes are coming soon and cannot be ordered. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and shown before payment.

Site analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts views and measures performance on public informational pages, including the affiliate overview and sample affiliate dashboard. It does not use cookies or browser storage to identify visitors and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. It is not loaded on design, checkout, order, account, admin, affiliate application or portal, or API pages.

With your optional consent, Google Analytics may measure public informational pages, storefront steps, and a completed purchase on the dedicated confirmation page. Accepting allows Google Analytics to set first-party analytics cookies, including the _ga family, to distinguish visits and sessions. Google Analytics is off by default, does not load until you accept, and remains off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Your current choice is saved in browser local storage; an earlier acceptance does not cover this expanded purchase and advertising measurement, so we ask again. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, photos or photo details, order or design numbers, Stripe or payment identifiers, query strings, shipping, tax, or affiliate payout information. After Stripe payment is confirmed by our server, the confirmation page may report one purchase event with an opaque measurement code, USD currency, the product amount after discounts and before shipping and tax, and one Anam Light bundle item. Browser settings or interruptions can prevent or occasionally duplicate this event.

Advertising attribution is a separate choice from Google Analytics. If you allow Google Ads purchase measurement, we may keep recognized Google click identifiers with the public landing path and capture time, attach them to Stripe Checkout, and, after Stripe confirms payment, report one click identifier, an opaque measurement code, purchase time, and the net product value in USD to Google Ads from our server. We do not include photos, contact details, IP addresses, device or session data, shipping, tax, or hashed personal information. Ad personalization remains denied. Analytics can be allowed without Google Ads measurement, and Google Ads measurement can be allowed without Analytics; neither choice enables the other.

When Analytics is allowed, recognized ad click identifiers, campaign labels, and referring website names may also be kept in your browser for up to 90 days and attached to your order and Stripe Checkout so we can understand which ads lead to orders. We do not put attribution in fulfillment files, photo bundles, emails, affiliate reports, or recovery exports, and we do not send it to Google Analytics or Cloudflare. We collect none of this before you accept the applicable choice.

You can withdraw or change either choice at any time with Change measurement choices below or in the site footer. Withdrawal stops the affected collection and clears the Ads grant for future checkouts. It does not automatically erase or retract measurement already recorded for an earlier order. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disables both optional choices.

Browser and cloud design data

Design choices, explicit photo/blank position roles, confirmed crop facts, and shipping-field progress are cached in your browser. Raw photo bytes are never written to local storage. When Supabase is configured, design metadata and photos are also securely stored so the flow can survive a reload; permanent accounts can resume their newest design across devices. If a signed preview cannot be restored, the builder identifies the affected position without displaying its stale filename and requires a retry or replacement. In unconfigured demo mode, photos remain in memory and must be re-added after a reload.
